After a huge success of Xiaomi Mi 3, the China based brand is all set to launch yet another smartphone Redmi 1s which is much more affordable and packed up with awesome specs especially considering the price tag touted by Flipkart.

Xiaomi Redmi 1S is being said to be launched as a rival of the very famous Moto E and Asus Zenfone 4 which falls in the same budget as Xiaomi Redmi 1S. Price of Xiaomi Redmi 1S in India is Rs. 6,999/, similar to Moto E price, but offers a better configuration inside the hood.

Other than the price tag, one more thing common in these three devices is that all of them are exclusively sold by the popular Indian online retailer Flipkart.

Xiaomi Redmi 1S packs up the best configuration we have at this price range. Redmi 1S comes with a quad core processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Chipset clocked at 1.6 GHz. Also, it gets its power via a 2000mAh battery which is also slightly more than what Moto E and Asus Zenfone packs up inside.


So far Xiaomi Redmi 1S packs up a decent hardware configuration for a mere price of Rs. 6,999/. However the OS may be a deciding factor as many out their loves the stock android feel, and if you are one of them, then this is definitely not for you.
