HTC Desire Eye is available on different e-commerce websites like Amazon (Rs 38,700), Flipkart (Rs 33,686) and Snapdeal (Rs. 33,286). Though, we do not have the exact price of  Sony Xperia C4 available with us, its expected price is Rs 28,499.

HTC Desire Eye smartphone supports a 5.2 inch display screen with resolution 1920×1080 pixels and has capacitive touch. It has 424 ppi pixel density for display. HTC Desire Eye runs on the Android 4.4.4 (KitKat).

While Sony Xperia C4 has 5.5 inch (1920×1080 pixels) and we do not have info about pixel density as of now. It runs on the latest Android Lollipop OS (v5.0)

CPU / RAM / Storage/SIM

If we look at the processor of HTC Desire Eye Smartphone, it is powered by Quad core Snapdragon 801 with 2 GB RAM. It comes up with single sim and supports nano sim.

While the Sony Xperia C4 Smartphone is powered by 1.7 GHz Mediatek MT6752 Octa Core Processor with 2 GB RAM. It comes up with dual sim.

Both these phones have 16GB internal storage and expandable up to 128GB.

Both these phones have 13 Megapixels rear camera with flash. HTC Desire Eye has dual LED Flash with HDR capability. However, if talk about Front camera, HTC Desire Eye has 13 Megapixels camera with dual LED Flash and HDR capability. Sony Xperia C4 has 5 Megapixels camera with LED flash. Sony Xperia C4 also has HDR for photos and videos.


Connectivity wise, HTC Desire Eye supports 4G/ LTE network and has Single SIM. It has Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11, GPS. It has 2400mAh battery power that will give you 20 hours Talk Time for 3G network and 538 hours standby time, as claimed by the company.

While the Sony Xperia C4 Smartphone supports dual SIM slot and it has 4G network as well. It also has the feature supported in HTC Desire Eye with USB High speed 2.0 and Micro USB support. In case of battery, Sony Xperia C4 has 2600 mAh battery that will give you talk time up to 12 hours 47 min and standby time up to 682 hours. Also, company claims that it will give up to 53 hours 22 min for Music listening and Video viewing time is up to 8 hours 8 min.

Reason being, it has 13 Megapixels rear and front camera, both these cameras have dual LED Flash and HDR capability. However, Sony Xperia C4 has 5 Megapixels front camera. Apart from this front camera, Sony Xperia C4 is leading in different areas like it support latest Android Lollipop OS (v5.0). Also, it has dual sim, whereas, HTC Desire Eye has single sim. Even in case of battery, Sony Xperia C4 has 2600 mAh battery and HTC Desire Eye has 2400 mAh. Screen size of Sony Xperia C4 is 5.5 inch which 0.3 in bigger than HTC Desire Eye.  Sony Xperia C4 is available in three different colors i.e. White, Black, Green. HTC Desire Eye also available in three different colors Red, White, Blue . If we talk about the weight of the phones, HTC Desire Eye weighs 154 g, however, Sony Xperia C4 weighs 147 g which is lighter than HTC Desire Eye. The only disadvantage of Sony Xperia C4 is the front 5 Megapixels camera, otherwise, it would be clean sweep on HTC Desire Eye. Also, there is no price available for Sony Xperia C4 as of now.
