Motorola has launched its Moto 360 2nd Gen SmartWatch in India. The prices of these Android wear SmartWatch Stars at Rs 11999. The SmartWatch will be available for sale onwards 7.30 PM IST on Flipkart and Myntra. The second generation smartwatch of Moto 360 series is thinner than the first generation. It is available for both men and women. Moto 360 second generation has two variants for men 46mm and 42mm design. While it 42mm design is available for the women.
Motorola states that Moto 360 second generation has the bigger screen ratio than other smartwatches available. It is built of Aircraft grade 316L stainless steel. The watch comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection which protects it from scratches. Moto 360 is water and dust resistant. The second generation of Moto 360 comes in two display sizes 1.37-inch screen which has 360X325 pixel resolution with 263ppi pixel density and 1.56 screen which has 360X330 pixel resolution with 233ppi pixel density. It is powered with 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor which also has Adreno 306 GPU. Moto 360 (2nd Gen) has 512 MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
If we see the battery capacity of Moto 360 (2nd Gen) then it has 300 mAh battery for 42mm variant. The battery can last up to 1.5 days if mixed use with the light off. Moto 360 second generation 46mm version has 400 mAh battery. It can last up to 2 days if mixed use with the light off. The smartwatch supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It comes with ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, haptics engine and vibration. Smartwatch also has a PPG Heart Rate Monitor which keeps track on your heart rate and gives you important health statics. Smartwatch can be switched to the black and white mode with low light which saves the battery when you are not much active.
