This is the end of this week we have come with a weekly news roundup. This week we have got some latest releases and some upgraded smartphones. This week two smartwatches were released.
The week start with the release of Microsoft Windows 10 smartphones. Microsoft has released their first flagships phones with Windows 10 operating system. Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL. Both are powerful smartphones. The phone has high-quality AMOLED display. Lumia 950 is a 5.2-inch touchscreen phone and 950 XL is a 5.7-inch screen phone. Both devices are equipped with 3 GB of RAM and have 32 GB of Internal Storage capacity. Microsoft has increased the upgraded storage capacity with the release of these new handsets. These two devices support 2 TB of microSD cards. Both devices have 20 Megapixel of rear camera with triple LED flash. It captures a brighter picture in no light. It also has 5 Megapixel of front camera. Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL has 3340 mAh of battery. It also has wireless charging feature. These devices support 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type C-Port. Microsoft Lumia 950 is available to purchase in India at Rs 43699 and Lumia 950 XL can be purchased at Rs 49399. The sale of the devices will begin from 11th December.
Another announcement we heard this week is ZTE Axon Mini is available in the UK. It is 5.2-inch screen phone with 1.5 GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8939 processor. It has 3 GB of RAM. The phone has 13 Megapixel of rear camera and 8 Megapixel of front camera.
Samsung has also released the 64 GB of their Galaxy S6 Active smartphones. This phone doesn’t support microSD cards, so it is a good relief for the people who were hesitating to buy the 32 GB device. The 64 GB version can be purchased at $100 extra than the 32 GB version cost. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is the tougher version of Galaxy S6 release this year. It is also a water resistant device.
Another big release this week we got is the Moto 360 2nd Gen SmartWatch in India. The smartwatch can be purchased from Rs 11999. The Moto 360 2nd Gen SmartWatches are the thinner than the first generation of Moto 360. There are different watches for gents and ladies. There is two variant of the Moto 360 2nd gen SmartWatch 1.37 Inch and 1.56 Inch screen. The smartwatch supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It comes with 512 MB RAM and has 4 GB of internal storage. The 42 mm variant of this smartwatch has 300 mAh battery and 46 mm variant has 400 mAh battery.
We also got the release of Asus ZenWatch 2 same week in Taiwan. The ZenWatch 2 has 1.63 inches of screen display and 1.45 inch of the screen display. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is launched with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of inbuilt storage. The device has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Asus has also released their Asus ZenFone Zoom in Taiwan this week. ZenFone Zoom is a 5.5-inch screen display phone. It is powered with 2.3 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor. The device has 2 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The device has 13 Megapixel of rear camera and 5 Megapixel of front camera. The plus point of this phone is its camera. The camera supports 3x optical zoom.
Another big news we heard this week is that Apple iPhone 7 may not have a 3.5 mm audio jack. This is the most shocking news we heard this week. However, it is not yet confirmed but if it is true then it will create troubles for users. WhatsApp has also released the update of their application to support 3D touch features in iPhones.
We have also covered the availability of Google Nexus 6 P Special Edition phone to purchase in Japan. This is the gold colour variant of Google Nexus 6P. The phone was available already available in three colour variant- Black, Silver, and White. Now they have released the Gold colour variant of the phone.
We can have a Microsoft Surface Phone in the second half of 2016. Reports are telling that the Microsoft has given green signal to the most awaited Surface Phone. We have also seen that the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra unlocked version is started selling in the US. The device can be purchased in $350.
We have also seen that the Kyocera Digno Rafre a waterproof washable mobile device launched in Japan this week. Huawei has launched their Enjoy 5S smartphone in China. It is a 5-inch screen phone which has 16 GB of internal storage and 2 GB of RAM. The phone has 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753T processor. It has 13 Megapixel of primary camera and 5 Megapixel of secondary camera. The phone has 2200 mAh battery. The connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, microUSB, and Bluetooth. The main attraction of the phone is it is equipped with a fingerprint sensor.
We also got the release of Panasonic Eluga Mark smartphone. The device is enhanced in security features. It is a 5.5-inch screen and 16 GB of internal storage. It also has 2 GB of RAM. The phone has 13 Megapixel of primary camera with LED Flash, also device has a 5 Megapixel front facing the camera. The connectivity features include Dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and microUSB port. The device is priced at around Rs 10000. After the release of this device, it will become the cheapest smartphone with a fingerprint sensor.
