Motorola Moto X Pure Edition 2015 variant started rolling out the Android Marshmallow update. Moto X Pure Edition got Marshmallow update on Verizon, Sprint and USC carrier. After testing the Android 6.0 update on the Moto X Pure Edition 2015 variants Motorola said it is working fine, now they are rolling the update to the devices. Now, users have started getting the update on Verizon, Sprint and USC Carrier.
The news was announced by the senior director of software product management of Motorola David Schuster on Google+, Moto X Pure Edition got Marshmallow update using Verizon, Sprint and USC Cellular carriers. According to news, the Moto X Pure Edition users of Verizon, Sprint and USC Cellular networks should start getting the update from today. If you do not get a notification about update then don’t worry it will soon appear to your Moto X Pure Edition phone.
He also said that they have started testing of the new operating system Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Moto X Play 2015. This update testing is for India and Brazil users of the device. They are also testing the update on Moto X Force for Brazil country users. David Schuster said that “This afternoon we have started to fully roll out Android Marshmallow 6.0 on 2015 Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Gen) with the following carriers; Verizon, Sprint and USC. We have started the soak test period in Brazil and India retail for the 2015 Moto X Play and in Brazil retail for the 2015 Moto X Force.”
With this update users will be able to see Google’s Doze and Google Now on a single tap. This update also fixes many things of Android operating system. The update seems to work fine on the Moto X Pure Edition 2015 devices.
