After the launch of Samsung Galaxy A9, now, Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro will be fighting in the middle tier smartphone market. The firmware coded as SM-A9100 was under working and now, the phone specs are revealed at AnTuTu. Earlier there was no information on its specifications.
According to the benchmark result, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm CPU clocked at 1.8GHz with Adreno 510 GPU. The phone supports 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution display which 0.5 inch smaller than Samsung Galaxy A9. It is packed with 4GB RAM.
As per the reports, the will have 32GB of inbuilt memory and user can access 25GB only. Camera wise, Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro has 15 Megapixel autofocus rear camera with face detection and LED flash. The front camera supported by the phone is 7 Megapixel. Both cameras can be used for recording full-HD videos.
The launch date is yet to be shared by Samsung. However, Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) and Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016)were launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 33,400 and Rs. 29,400 respectively.
The earlier version of Samsung Galaxy A9 has a 6-inch full-HD Super Amoled display with 2.5D curved glass. It has 1080×1920 pixels of resolution. The phone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It is powered by a 1.8GHz 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC with Adreno 510 GPU. It is packed with 3GB RAM. Internal memory supported is 32GB which is expandable up to 128GB. Camera wise, it has 13 Megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and 8 Megapixel front camera. The phone has 4000mAh battery.
