Chinese manufacturer, QiKU has launched its new smartphone named as QiKU F4 in China. If you haven’t heard the name of the company before, it’s a joint venture between Qihoo 360 and Coolpad. The price of the phone is RMB 599 which is approximately Rs. 6,000.
There will be two variants of this phone:
- 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory for CNY 599 (approximately Rs. 6,000)
- 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory for CNY 799 (approximately Rs. 8,000)
Right now the smartphone is launched in China and there is no information about the availability of the phone in other countries yet. The first flash sale of this phone will be starting this Friday.
QiKU F4 smartphone has 5-inch HD display and 720×1280 pixels of resolution. It’s a dual sim phone that runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek (MT6753) processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali T720 GPU.
Camera wise, QiKU F4 is packed with a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and PDAF. However, it has a 5-megapixel front camera. As mentioned above, there are two variants of the phone 2GB RAM & 16GB internal memory and 3GB of RAM & 32GB internal memory. However, both phones can be expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
Connectivity wise, it supports 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 4.0. It comes with a fingerprint scanner that can recognise a finger impression in 0.4 seconds. This panel is located at the front side of the phone. It also features sensors such as an ambient light sensor, accelerometer and proximity sensor. It measures 142x77x9.3mm and weighs around 155 g. The phone is packed with A 2500mAh battery. The phone will be available from March 25th in China.
