LeEco, the Chinese giant which has become a leading smartphone manufacturer in the market is expected to launch a smartphone, powered by the latest chipset Snapdragon 821/823. It will be the first of its kind.


The smartphone is expected to be launched at June 29 MWC event. The Chinese giant confirmed that it will reveal a new smartphone with the latest chipset at the Mobile World Congress on June 29 at Shanghai.

The giant has not confirmed much about the features of the smartphone but will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 or Snapdragon 823 processor. Earlier this year at CES 2016, Qualcomm unveiled the first smartphone with Snapdragon 820 processor as Le Max Pro. Both the giant may again collaborate for the latest processor.

According to the reports from Gizmo, the key features of the smartphone are:

  • 8GB RAM
  • 25 megapixels Rear Camera
  • Snapdragon 821/823 processorThe smartphone will be priced at CNY 2999 which approximately equal to Rs. 30000.

The Chinese giant is entering the US market and hiring professionals for the company and has not confirmed a fixed timeline for the entry in US market.

LeEco recently launched the Le 2 and Le Max 2 smartphones in the market of India and the registration for the smartphone has been started. The Le Max 2 has two variants:

i. 4GB RAM/32 GB storage, priced at Rs. 22999.
ii. 6GB RAM/64 GB storage, priced at Rs. 29999.

The Le 2 is priced at Rs. 11999.

So, if you want to buy the latest version of smartphone and want easy and fast access to your applications and to do multi-tasking with your smartphone with the greatest speed, then you should hold on for some time and wait for the smartphone with Snapdragon 821 processor and 25 megapixels camera.
