The LeEco Le Pro 3 is now getting Android Update, which was announced in September this year. Yes, if you are using LeEco Le Pro 3, you can update your smartphone. Please note that it is not an Android Nougat update.
The updates are getting via an OTA (over to air) right now. The new update installs the latest Android security patch, while also providing a bunch of bug fixes and improvements. Check the image below:
It is based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and the firmware version is EUI 5.8.020S. There is also an Android security patch with which users also get other features and bug fixes.
You can see in the screenshot that the GMS Apps package have been updated for better security and stability. Some changes are:
- Bluetooth discover-ability has been shortened to 20 seconds
- Camera image processing algorithm has been enhanced
- Unnecessary app permissions for 1st app launch will no longer show
- The No Subject header from MMS has also been removed.
The LeEco Le Pro 3 has some high-end specs. It has a a 5.5 inch display and powered by Snapdragon 821 processor. The phone is packed with 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM.
Camera wise, it has 16MP primary camera, and other high-end features.
While updating your smartphone, make sure it has enough battery and connected to a strong WiFi or Cellular connection. The connection should not be breaked while downloading and installing this update.
