Gionee announced that they have got more than 1.20 Cr customers in India. This news is a celebration moment for Gionee and they have signed with the ace cricketer of Indian Cricket Team Virat Kohli as their new brand ambassador. Earlier Alia Bhatt was campaigning Gionee’s smartphone and now Virat will do it. Both Alia and Virat will be the brand ambassador and they will help in pushing the Gionee’s brand to new heights. We have seen that Virat has done awesome in all the fields and Gionee will get good business using his face.
Gionee has planned for a growth of 2.5 times in 2017 and will be establishing 500 brand stores in India.

In 2016, Gionee tied up with Bollywood blockbusters Dilwale and Love You Zindagi. Music is also a stronghold of Gionee, given it’s sponsorship of Bollyland and Sunburn. Gionee is sponsoring Football Club Shillong Lajong, IPL Cricket team Kolkata Night Riders and Pro Kabaddi League for the last few years.
