Panasonic India Pvt. Ltd today introduced the India’s first Air-Conditioner with Radiant Cooling Technology. The name of the series is SKY Series which is in the Inverter segment. The new series was introduced by the popular actress and conservationist – Ms. Dia Mirza, Mr. Manish Sharma, Mr. Tadashi Chiba and Mr. Mohammed Hussain at an event in New Delhi.
With this launch, Panasonic has planned to capture over 10% market share and 30% growth in the air-conditioner segment in next year.
There is a different range which is launched by Panasonic. The Elite Inverter range will be available in 1 and 1.5 tonnage capacity. 1 ton AC will cost you around Rs 70,200/- whereas the 1.5 ton will cost around Rs 85,200/ . Panasonic will also launch new models like fixed speed 3-Star, 4-Star, 5-Star and Windows segment.
At the launch Mr. Manish Sharma, President & CEO, Panasonic India & South Asia, said:

Ms. Dia Mirza, Bollywood actress, activist and conservationist said:
“With air-pollution rising at such a high rate in metros, it is imperative for us to take precautions for our health as well as the environment. The concentration of PM 2.5 rose in 2016 as compared to the previous year and I am glad to see Panasonic offering products and solutions which not only help in saving the environment but also improve its consumers’ health.”
It is important for brands to take definitive steps towards saving the environment by using eco-friendly gas in their new range.
The SKY Series features advanced air purification system nanoe-G, which purifies down the air to the smallest details. The live demo was shown where PM2.5 raises up to 999 or more but it gets down to under 10 in a minute with this technology. The AC removes the airborne particles including the particles smaller than 2.5 micrometers in size (PM2.5).
The Elite Inverter air conditioner has a R410 refrigerant gas to make homes more efficient and reduce the emissions of greenhouse gasses into the environment.
