Spice Mobility and Transsion holdings, Joint Venture reanimated the Spice Brand today. The Joint Venture was inked today in the presence of Mr. Lin Qin, Vice-President, Transsion Holdings and Mr. Dilip Modi, Executive Chairman, Spice Mobility.
This partnership aims to revitalize the ‘Spice brand’. The new Spice brand portfolio will offer stylishly designed devices catering to the needs of the Indian youth. The companies have planned to launch 10 devices – five smartphones and five feature phones – under the new Spice brand by the end of this year. The first batch of these will be launched starting the first half of July. The devices will be sold via the offline retail channel only.
The first 5 units will be launched in next month and these devices will be available on offline channel only.

The new logo is quite impressive and it denotes a youthful, vibrant, energetic and carefree brand. Spice logo is targeting the core values of the ‘Youth’. The Purple is a very unique and vibrant colour, which signifies the stability of Blue and the energy of Red.
